Social Worker / Senior Social Worker – Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Location: Wandsworth, London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to £52,767 per annum + £5,000 Welcome Bonus*
Contract: Fixed Term – 12 months | Full Time – 36 hours

We’re looking for passionate and experienced Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Wandsworth.

Every child deserves the right support at the right time – and our MASH service is at the heart of making that happen. By bringing together professionals across social care, health, education, housing, the police, and substance misuse services, we ensure that children and families receive coordinated, holistic support.

About the role

At MASH, you’ll:

  • Assess, analyse, and triage referrals, ensuring children and families get the right service at the right time.

  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of agencies to safeguard and protect children.

  • Draw on families’ strengths while addressing risks, promoting resilience and positive outcomes.

  • Be supported by reflective supervision, peer learning, and specialist input.


What we’re looking for

  • Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, London Child Protection Procedures, and best practice guidance

  • Skilled in assessment, analysis, and decision-making in complex situations

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to both support and challenge colleagues/agencies

  • A curious, reflective practitioner committed to ensuring children and families receive the right support
