Key Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and protection
• Undertake high-quality assessments and develop robust, outcome-focused plans
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families to promote sustainable change
• Work collaboratively with health, education, and partner agencies
• Attend child protection conferences, core groups, and court when required
• Maintain timely and analytical case recording

Candidate Requirements

• Social Work England registration
• Experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need
• Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment
• A commitment to reflective and child-centred practice
