Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and protection
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and implement clear, outcome-focused plans
  • Lead child protection investigations and attend case conferences and court when required
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to ensure a holistic safeguarding approach

Candidate Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Significant post-qualified experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need
  • Strong assessment, analysis, and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
  • Commitment to promoting positive change through child-centred practice
