Hammersmith & Fulham Council is seeking a skilled Team Manager to lead their Adult Social Care Front Door and Safeguarding Service. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced leader to shape high-quality adult services within a well-structured, strength-based system.

About the Role:
You will lead a team responsible for triaging referrals, managing safeguarding concerns, and supporting residents through timely, person-centred interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the Front Door and Safeguarding team
• Maintain high practice standards and ensure compliance with legislation and Care Act principles
• Promote a culture of strength-based, person-centred social work
• Manage resources, performance, quality assurance, and workforce development
• Lead on partnership working across health, housing, and community services
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are managed effectively, with a focus on prevention and early resolution
• Supervise social workers and oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration
• Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social care
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, and safeguarding frameworks
• Ability to build effective partnerships and manage performance and quality at a team level
