Are you an experienced social work professional with a passion for safeguarding children? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team as a Team Manager in South London. This role offers the chance to lead a dynamic team, ensuring that children and families receive the highest standard of support and protection.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the MASH team, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring effective multi-agency collaboration.
• Safeguarding: Ensure that all safeguarding concerns are thoroughly assessed, and appropriate actions are taken swiftly to protect children at risk.
• Case Management: Supervise and support social workers in managing complex cases, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the team's performance, providing guidance and support to ensure continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices, maintaining the highest standards of social work practice.
• Multi-Agency Coordination: Work closely with partners including the police, health services, and education, to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
• Training and Development: Support the professional development of your team, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
