Social Worker – Assessment Team - Telford and Wrekin Council

Location: Darby House, Telford
Pay/Salary: up to £38 per hour (+ £500 Bonus After 12 Weeks)
Office Working: 2-3 Days per week
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Telford and Wrekin to find an experienced Social Worker for their Assessment Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and an OUTSTANDING OFSTED, Telford and Wrekin are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload.

Duties

• Carry out needs led child focused assessments
• Hold a caseload of single assessments (S17) and S47 investigations
• Participate in the duty system, responding to safeguarding concerns
• Prioritise demand and make effective use of time
• Listen and promote the voice of the child
   

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
