Advanced Practitioner – Help and Protection Team – Coventry City Council

Location: Coventry
Pay/Salary: up to £33.30 per hour (+ £40 per day allowance when travelling to the office)
Office Working: 3 Days per week, 5 Day during duty week
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Coventry City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Help and Protection team in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Coventry are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up an average caseload of 20 children. 

Duties

• Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
• Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
• Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
• Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
