Are you an experienced and knowledgeable Social Worker looking to take the next step in your career? Join our dedicated Referral and Assessment Team in South London as a Consultant Social Worker. In this senior role, you will provide expert guidance, supervision, and support to ensure the highest standards of practice in assessing and responding to the needs of children and families.

As a Consultant Social Worker on our Referral and Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting complex assessments of children and families referred to the service, identifying risks, and determining appropriate interventions.
• Providing expert consultation and support to social workers and other team members, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
• Supervising and mentoring less experienced social workers, supporting their professional development and ensuring quality of work.
• Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.
• Preparing detailed reports and attending court proceedings as necessary.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
