Qualified Children’s Senior Social Worker – Rochdale Family Support and Protection Service
Role: Senior Social Worker
Location: Rochdale
Pay: Up to £40 per hour
Contract: Locum

Rochdale Family Support and Protection Service is excited to offer an opportunity for a Consultant Social Worker to join their team during a period of transformation. As part of the ongoing transition into the family safeguarding model, Rochdale is in the process of establishing multi-disciplinary teams where social workers will be working closely with specialists, all co-located under a unified management structure. This innovative approach enables a whole-family response through direct assessments, creating a dynamic environment for professional growth and impactful outcomes.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience working in Family Support, Safeguarding, or Protection Services

• Experience in assessing and supporting vulnerable families

• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, particularly in guiding ASYE’s

• Flexibility to travel locally and occasionally further afield
