Senior Social Worker (Fixed Term Contract)

Social Worker – Children in Care - City of Doncaster Council

Location: City of Doncaster Council
Salary: £48,227 per annumn
Office Working: 2-3 Days per week
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (3-12 months)

We are currently working with City of Doncaster to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children in Care team in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Doncaster are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.

Duties

• Managing complex caseloads and delivering effective interventions for children and families.
• Completing statutory visits, writing trauma-informed care plans.
• Developing and implementing child-centred plans to achieve positive outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Preparing and presenting high-quality reports for meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
• Applying sound professional judgement to inform decision-making and risk management.

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
