Role: Senior Social Worker
Location: Windsor and Maidenhead
Team: Support and Safeguarding
Pay: Up to £38 per hour
Contract: Locum

Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about safeguarding children and families? Windsor and Maidenhead are looking for a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join their Support and Safeguarding Service, where you'll make a genuine difference in children’s lives while working within a well-structured, supportive environment.

You’ll be working on the frontline of child protection—supporting families, managing complex caseloads, and using relationship-based practice to ensure the best outcomes for children. Expect to work closely with families, schools, police and health professionals to create strong plans for change and safety.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience in Child Protection, Court Proceedings, and Care Planning

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Flexibility to travel locally when needed
