Social Worker – Child Protection Team
Pay Rate: £37.50 per hour

About the Role
Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Child Protection Team.
You will work with children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, undertaking assessments and interventions to ensure children are protected and supported effectively.
This is a rewarding frontline role where you will manage complex cases, undertake direct work with families, and collaborate with partner agencies to achieve positive and lasting change.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments.
- Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Child in Need cases.
- Develop and implement robust safety and care plans.
- Undertake Public Law Outline (PLO) work and court proceedings where required.
- Work collaboratively with health, education, police, and partner agencies.
- Undertake direct work with children and families.
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court proceedings.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings.
