Social Worker – Children and Families Team
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour
Hours: 37 per week

About the Role
Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Children and Families Team.
You will work with children and families across a varied caseload, providing high-quality assessments, safeguarding interventions, and long-term planning to improve outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete Child and Family Assessments under the Children Act.
- Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases where required.
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and safeguarding investigations.
- Develop and implement effective care and support plans.
- Undertake direct work with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with health, education, police, and partner agencies.
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court proceedings.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recordings.
