Social Worker – Assessment Team - Northampton Children's Trust

Location: One Angel Square, Northampton
Pay/Salary: up to £38 per hour
Office Working: 2 days per week, Fully office-based during duty week (1 in 6)
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Northampton to find an experienced Social Worker for their Assessment Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Northampton are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload.

Duties

• Carry out needs led child focused assessments
• Hold a caseload of single assessments (S17) and S47 investigations
• Participate in the duty system, responding to safeguarding concerns
• Prioritise demand and make effective use of time
• Listen and promote the voice of the child

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
