Are you an experienced Children’s Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity within a fast-paced and supportive Safeguarding Service? Lewisham Council is seeking a committed and motivated Social Worker to join their frontline safeguarding team, supporting vulnerable children and families across the borough.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans
Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and risk analysis
Complete court reports and care proceedings work where required
Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children
Ensure all recording and case management is completed to a high standard
Maintain direct and meaningful engagement with children and families
