Pay Rate: Up to £35 per hour
Location: High Street, Huddersfield, HD1 2LE (with home and community-based working)

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, office hours

Sheldon Phillips are working with Kirklees Council who are looking for experienced Adult Social Workers to join their Reviews Team. This role supports the delivery of strength-based review work as part of the Council’s wider change programme, ensuring service users continue to receive high-quality, outcome-focused support.

You’ll be working flexibly across home, office, service user visits, and care provider sites, offering a varied and rewarding working pattern.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertake Care Act reviews for adults with care and support needs

• Apply strength-based practice to identify outcomes and promote independence

• Engage with service users, carers, and providers in a collaborative way

• Ensure care and support plans remain proportionate, effective, and up to date

• Record all work in line with statutory requirements and Council procedures

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality practice

Requirements:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work qualification

• Post-qualified experience within Adult Services

• Strong knowledge of the Care Act and strength-based practice

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team approach

• Flexible and professional with excellent communication skills
