Social Worker – Safeguarding Team – Derbyshire County Council

Location: Derbyshire County Council

Pay/Salary: up to £35 per hour

Office Working: 2 Days per week

Contract: Locum

 

We are working with Derbyshire County Council to recruit an experienced Social Worker for its Children’s Services Safeguarding team. With stable management and a largely permanent workforce, Derbyshire is looking for someone with strong experience who can manage a caseload and support the service effectively.

Duties

• Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
• Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
• Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
• Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
