Job Overview:

Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to take on a senior role without the burden of a caseload? We are seeking a Senior Practitioner for a locum contract, offering an attractive hourly rate of £33.30. This unique position focuses on reducing the number of children in care, providing a variety of rewarding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SGO Part 1 assessments and create support plans.
• Perform parenting assessments.
• Collaborate with allocated Social Workers to progress discharges for children.
• Provide expert support to ensure the effective and timely reduction of children in care.
• Engage in diverse tasks aimed at supporting family stability and permanency.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration is essential.
• Extensive experience in social work, particularly in areas related to assessments and family support.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively alongside other Social Workers.
• Excellent assessment, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
