Job Overview:

Are you an experienced Social Work professional ready to lead and inspire a dedicated team? We are seeking a skilled Safeguarding Team Manager to join a stable local authority known for its low caseloads and robust senior management. This locum contract offers a competitive hourly rate of £41.42.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the safeguarding team to ensure high standards of practice.
• Oversee casework, ensuring effective safeguarding of children and young people.
• Provide supervision, support, and development to team members.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement best practices and policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration is essential.
• Proven experience in safeguarding and team management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining low caseloads and high-quality service delivery.
