Senior Practitoner - Family First - Midlands

Location: Herefordshire Council
Salary: £45,777 - £50,091
Welcome Bonus: £10,000
Relocation: £10,000
Office Working: 3 Days per week
Contract: Permanent

We are currently working with Herefordshire Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Family First team in Childrens Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Herefordshire are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service, Herefordshire also offer Sponosrship.

Duties

•    Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
•    Conducting Initial Assessments
•    Working in a fast paced team
•    Participate in strategy meetings where necessary
•    Children and Family Assessments
•    Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
•    Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
•    Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings

What you need

•    Social Work Qualification
•    Social Work England registration
•    Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
