Pay: £33.30 per hour

Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? Join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team as a Senior Practitioner on a locum basis and play a vital role in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults within the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex case assessments within the MASH team, ensuring timely and effective responses to safeguarding concerns.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies including health, police, and education to ensure comprehensive safeguarding measures.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior staff, promoting best practices in safeguarding and intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with local authority policies and statutory requirements.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing to the development of robust safeguarding plans.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, preferably within a MASH or safeguarding setting.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex and high-risk cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multi-agency framework.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
