Hourly Rate: £33.30 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to undertake a Fostering Panel Advisor role within our small local authority in the West Midlands. This is a locum position with a competitive hourly rate of £33.30.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the department’s expert on all Fostering panel matters.
• Quality assure documents being presented for panel and minutes following panel.
• Provide professional supervision and appraisal to a diverse team of panel members.
• Stay knowledgeable in Fostering and Adoption legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with the 2002 Adoption Act, Fostering Regulations 2011, National Minimum Standards, Government Guidance, the City Council's core values, core competency framework, strategic aims, and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering social work.
• In-depth knowledge of Fostering and Adoption legislation and regulations.
