Position: Specialist Domestic Violence Social Worker
Hourly Rate: £33.30 per hour
Type: Locum
Contract Duration: Minimum 9 months, until March 2025
 

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist Domestic Violence Social Worker to join our team on a locum basis. This role involves working with complex cases, providing crucial support and interventions to individuals affected by domestic violence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake initial risk assessments of domestic violence perpetrators
• Conduct comprehensive parenting assessments
• Develop and implement safety plans for affected families
• Provide specialized support and interventions for complex cases involving domestic violence

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with complex cases and domestic violence
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective safety plans
• Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential
