About the Role

As part of the Assessment Service, you will play a key role in safeguarding children by carrying out timely and effective assessments, ensuring risks are identified early and appropriate interventions are put in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory guidance
Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely progression of plans
Conduct Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments
Work closely with partner agencies to gather information and inform decision-making
Produce high-quality, evidence-based reports for court when required
Engage directly with children and families to understand their needs and risks
