Supervising Social Worker | Foster Careline | £33,755 – £39,547 + £4,500 Car Allowance
We are working with Foster Careline, a well-established and values-driven fostering agency, to recruit a Supervising Social Worker to join their therapeutic and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, highly experienced service that places strong emphasis on trauma-informed practice and achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
Foster Careline operates as a social enterprise and has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, reflecting the quality of support provided to foster carers and the positive impact on children’s lives. Their collaborative, supportive culture and commitment to professional development make this a standout opportunity within the fostering sector.
Role Overview
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will hold a manageable caseload of foster carers, providing high-quality supervision, guidance, and support. The role is centred on building strong relationships with fostering families while ensuring children receive safe, stable, and nurturing care.
You will work within a therapeutic framework, supported by a clinical team, and contribute to the ongoing development of carers through training, supervision, and participation activities.
This is a flexible role, with a hybrid approach to working. You will be required in the Ellesmere Port office for one duty day per week and monthly team meetings, with the remainder of your time spent working from home and visiting carers.
